Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 10 pieces Old crayons (various colors) Use leftover or broken crayons.
  • 1 set Silicone star molds Choose your preferred mold size.
  • 1 tray Baking tray To catch spills when melting.
  • 1 unit Oven or microwave Use the oven for more controlled melting.
  • 1 spray Non-stick cooking spray Optional, to help remove stars easily.
  • 1 sheet Parchment paper Optional, can be used for easier cleanup.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel off the paper from the crayons to reveal the colorful wax underneath.
  • Break the crayons into smaller pieces to ensure even melting.

Melting

  • Preheat the oven to 230°F (110°C) for gradual melting.
  • Spray the silicone molds with non-stick cooking spray if desired.
  • Place the broken crayon pieces into the molds, filling each star about halfway.
  • Carefully place the filled molds onto a baking tray.
  • Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the crayons are fully melted.

Cooling

  • Remove the tray from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Transfer the molds to the freezer for about 15 minutes until they fully harden.
  • Pop out the star shapes, enjoying the smooth surface and vibrant colors.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and shapes. You can also add glitter for extra sparkle!
