  • 2/3 bottle Water Fill the bottle about two-thirds full.
  • a few drops Blue and green food coloring Adjust color to preference.
  • as desired Glitter (various colors) Use different colors for a lively effect.
  • as desired Sequins or small beads (ocean-themed) For added texture and sparkle.
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable glycerin Optional, to thicken the liquid.
  • 1 tube Hot glue Optional, for securing the lid.
  • 1 Funnel For easier filling.

Preparation

  • Start with a clean, empty plastic bottle. Ensure that there are no labels remaining.
  • Using a funnel, fill the bottle about two-thirds full with water.
  • Add a few drops of blue and green food coloring to achieve an ocean-like hue.
  • Sprinkle in your chosen glitter and ocean-themed sequins or beads.
  • If desired, add a tablespoon of vegetable glycerin for a thicker consistency.
  • Before sealing the lid, gently shake the bottle to assess how the items move.
  • If satisfied with the movement, use a hot glue gun to seal the lid securely.
  • Once sealed, give your sensory bottle a good shake to watch the glitter and sequins dance.

Notes
