- 1 bottle Mod Podge or clear-drying glue Used for sealing.
- A little amount Water For mixing paint.
- Small containers Small mixing containers For mixing paint.
- 1 roll Paper towels For cleanup.
Instructions
Preparation
- Clear off a flat surface and lay down newspapers to catch any spills.
- Gather all your materials within reach.
Mix Your Paints
- In small containers, mix acrylic paints with a little water to reach a fluid consistency.
- Try creating different shades by mixing colors; this will add depth to your galaxy.
Paint the Ornaments
- Carefully remove the top of the ornament.
- Dip a paintbrush into your paint mixture.
- Swirl the brush inside the ornament, letting colors blend for a beautiful effect.
- Repeat with different colors, allowing each layer to dry slightly before adding more.
Add Glitter and Finish
- Before the paint fully dries, sprinkle fine glitter inside for a sparkling galaxy effect.
- Use Mod Podge or clear glue to seal the ornament if desired, keeping the glitter in place.
- Replace the ornament cap and set aside to dry completely.
