  • 1 half Clean egg carton Cut in half horizontally
  • 1 bottle Blue paint Acrylic or watercolor

  • 1 cup Sand or brown paper For the seabed
  • 2-3 pieces Small shells or pebbles
  • 3-5 pieces Toy marine animals Fish, starfish, etc.
  • 1 pair Scissors
  • 1 bottle Glue Hot glue or school glue
  • to taste Glitter, sequins, or other decorative elements Optional for embellishment

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the egg carton in half horizontally to create a base for your diorama.
  • Paint the inside with blue paint, representing the ocean. Allow it to dry completely.

Creating the Seabed

  • Add sand or brown paper to the bottom of the carton to simulate the ocean floor.
  • Glue it in place, smoothing down any wrinkles.

Populating Your Ocean

  • Select toy animals to feature. Pick favorites like fish, octopuses, or sea turtles.
  • Glue these creatures onto the seabed, arranging them creatively.

Decorating Your Mini Ocean

  • Embellish with small shells or pebbles for additional detail.
  • Add glitter or sequins if you want a sparkling effect on the water.

Final Touches

  • Ensure everything is securely glued and let your diorama dry.
  • Display your creation proudly for everyone to see!
