Instructions
Preparation
- Lay down some newspaper or a plastic sheet to protect your surface. Light a candle or play soft music if that helps set the mood.
- Take your colorful tissue paper and gently tear it into small pieces. The irregular edges add to the unique charm of your suncatcher.
- Before gluing, arrange your tissue pieces on your clear surface to form a pattern.
Assembly
- Use your brush or sponge to coat your clear surface with a thin layer of Mod Podge.
- Gently press the torn pieces of tissue paper onto the Mod Podge layer, overlapping some pieces to let the colors mix for a stained-glass effect.
- Once satisfied with your design, apply another layer of Mod Podge over the top to seal your artwork and add a glossy finish.
