Ingredients
  

For the Neon Glow Jumping Ball

  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon liquid laundry detergent
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • to taste neon food coloring (or UV reactive paint) Add according to desired brightness

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of water. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
  • Add neon food coloring and mix until you achieve your desired brightness.

Introducing Ingredients

  • Slowly add 1 tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent to the mixture, stirring continuously.
  • You should start to notice the mixture thickening.
  • Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of corn starch while continuing to mix.
  • The mixture should become more cohesive and begin to form a gooey ball.

Shaping the Ball

  • Once your mixture solidifies, transfer it to a clean flat surface (like a baking sheet).
  • Knead and roll the mixture into a ball shape.
  • The texture should be slightly sticky, yet moldable.

Enjoying the Glow

  • Once shaped, test your ball in a UV light environment.
  • Bounce it around and watch it glow!

Notes

Experiment with different colors of neon food coloring or UV reactive paint for creative effects. You can also try making different shapes instead of a ball. Add a drop of essential oil for a scented bounce.
