New Year's Eve Party Poppers
Craft your own colorful and customizable party poppers for a fun and memorable New Year’s Eve celebration.
Ingredients
Materials Needed
- 1 roll Empty toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls Use clean and dry rolls.
- 1 pack Colorful tissue paper A variety of colors suggested.
- 1 roll Ribbon or yarn For securing the ends of the poppers.
- 1 cup Confetti Store-bought or homemade.
- 1 pair Scissors For cutting tissue paper.
- 1 tube Tape or glue For sealing the ends.
- 1 set Markers or stickers For decorating the outside.
- Optional Small candies or notes To add inside the poppers.
Instructions
Preparation
- Take an empty toilet paper roll and ensure it’s clean and dry. If using a paper towel roll, cut it down to the desired length.
- Use markers or stickers to adorn the outside of your tube with creative patterns and colors.
- Grab a sheet of colorful tissue paper and cut it into a square large enough to cover one end of the tube.
- Place a mixture of confetti and optional small candies or notes inside the tube.
- Carefully fold the tissue paper over the top of the tube and secure it using ribbon or yarn, tying a neat bow.
- For the other end of the tube, cover it with another piece of tissue paper, securing it with tape or glue, leaving it loose to pop open.
- Add any final decorations and ensure all components are secure.
- Your party poppers are now ready for the countdown!
Notes
Customize colors to match your party theme. Swap confetti for dried flower petals for a natural touch. Writing a small message can add a personal touch.
