Slime Ingredients

  • 1 cup Liquid soap (easy to find, any gentle formula) Use child-friendly liquid soap.
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch Common in most kitchens.
  • 1 tablespoon Water Add slowly, just a tablespoon at a time.
  • as needed drops Food coloring (optional) For adding vibrancy.

Tools

  • 1-2 Bowls for mixing Any size will do.
  • 1 Measuring spoons For accuracy.
  • 1 A spoon or spatula For stirring.
  • 1 Container for storage Optional but recommended.

Mixing

  • In a spacious bowl, combine one cup of liquid soap with a quarter cup of cornstarch.
  • Stir gently with a spoon or spatula.
  • Slowly add water, just a tablespoon at a time, incorporating it thoroughly after each addition.
  • If you wish to add color, drop in a little food coloring now.
  • Keep mixing until the slime reaches a satisfying consistency.
  • Once it feels just right, take your time to knead the slime with your hands.
  • Adjust the texture by adding more cornstarch or a little more water as needed.

Enjoying and Storing

  • Once your No-Glue Soap Slime is complete, place it on a soft surface for play.
  • When not in use, store the slime in a clean, airtight container.
  • Keep the container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • To reuse, knead the slime until it softens.

Notes

Experiment with different soaps and add essential oils for fragrance. Try adding glitter for a magical quality.
