Preparation

  • Settle in a Comfortable Space: Find a quiet place where you feel at ease. Gather your materials around you, creating a cozy crafting environment.
  • Combine the Salts: In a mixing bowl, start by adding one cup of sea salt.
  • Add Epsom Salt: Next, mix in half a cup of Epsom salt.
  • Incorporate Baking Soda: Stir in one cup of baking soda.
  • Incorporate Essential Oils: If you’re using essential oils, now is the time to add them.
  • Introduce Color: If you want your Ocean Ice Melt to have color, add a drop or two of food coloring.
  • Mix Until Well Combined: Use your spoon to blend everything together gently.
  • Decorate (Optional): If you have dried flowers or sea glass, sprinkle them on top of your mix.
  • Store for Use: Once you’re satisfied, transfer your mixture to a jar or container and close it tightly.

Notes

Store in an airtight jar to maintain freshness. You can reuse Ocean Ice Melt multiple times in baths or foot soaks. If the scent fades, simply add more essential oil to refresh.
