Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 bottle A clear plastic or glass bottle with a secure lid Easy to find
  • 1 cup Water Room temperature
  • a few drops Blue food coloring Optional
  • to fill bottle Baby oil or mineral oil For slow movement
  • 1 cup Fine sand or small pebbles To mimic ocean floor
  • as desired Glitter Optional, for sparkling waves

Tools

  • 1 piece A small funnel To help pour
  • 1 piece A spoon or stick For stirring

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by filling your bottle about a third full with water.
  • Add a few drops of blue food coloring to the water.
  • Pour in baby oil to fill the bottle almost to the top, leaving some space.
  • Give the mixture a gentle stir with a spoon or stick to combine.
  • Slowly add fine sand at the bottom of the bottle.
  • If desired, sprinkle in glitter or small pebbles.
  • Secure the lid tightly on the bottle and gently tilt and swirl it.
  • Enjoy the soothing movements as you create ripples and waves.

Notes

Keep your ocean in a bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A gentle shake can bring the enchanting movement back to life. You can refresh your creation with more sand, glitter, or essential oils.
