  • 1 cup Blue or green water beads (or glass pebbles)
  • 1 tablespoon Glitter or sequins (optional) For added sparkle
  • 3-5 pieces Small ocean-themed toys (like fish, shells, or sea creatures)
  • enough to fill bottle Water
  • 1-2 tablespoons Oil (baby oil or vegetable oil) To create a unique wave effect
  • a few drops each Food coloring (optional) To enhance color
  • 1 each Funnel For easy filling

Preparation

  • Start by cleaning and rinsing your plastic bottle thoroughly. Remove any labels to ensure a clear view of your ocean scene.

Gather Materials

  • Lay out your chosen ocean-themed toys and beads. If using water beads, soak them in water to allow them to expand.

Fill the Bottle

  • Using the funnel, add the blue or green water beads to your bottle.
  • Add a sprinkle of glitter or sequins for added sparkle.

Add Toys

  • Carefully place your small ocean-themed toys into the bottle and arrange them as desired for a fun underwater scene.

Pour in the Liquid

  • Fill the bottle with water, leaving a little space at the top. If you like, add a few drops of food coloring to enhance the color.

Add Oil

  • Pour a small amount of oil on top of the water to help create a unique wave effect.

Seal and Shake

  • Securely fasten the lid onto the bottle and shake gently to mix the contents and watch the mesmerizing motion.

Notes

You can swap materials or add a calming scent with essential oil. Experiment with different bottle sizes and seasonal themes for varied effects.
