Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup clear or white glue Use PVA glue for best results.
  • 1 cup warm water Warm but not boiling.
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 2-3 teaspoons saline solution (contact lens solution)
  • to taste food coloring (blue or green) Add gradually until desired color is achieved.
  • as needed fish charms (mini plastic fish or ocean-themed decorations) Use various styles for more fun.

Tools

  • 1 mixing bowl Large enough for mixing ingredients.
  • 1 spoon or spatula For mixing.
  • 1 airtight container For storing the finished slime.

Instructions
 

Mixing the Base

  • In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of glue and then add 1 cup of warm water.
  • Use a spoon to mix the glue and water until fully combined and smooth.

Activating the Slime

  • Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of baking soda into the mixture and stir until dissolved.
  • Add your desired food coloring (a few drops should do) and mix until the color is evenly distributed.

Forming the Slime

  • Slowly add 2-3 teaspoons of saline solution to the mixture while stirring continuously.
  • Knead the slime with your hands until it becomes smooth and stretchy. Adjust with more saline solution if it’s too sticky.

Adding the Finishing Touches

  • Carefully mix in your fish charms, evenly distributing them throughout the slime.
  • Place the finished slime in an airtight container for safe keeping.

Notes

Experiment with different food coloring and adding glitter for a fun texture! Incorporate essential oils for a delightful scent. Keep slime in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.
