Ingredients
  

Slime Base

  • 1 cup clear or white school glue Use school glue for flexibility and non-toxic nature.
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup liquid starch Substitute with contact lens solution mixed with baking soda if unavailable.
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons acrylic paint Use blue or green for ocean colors.

Add-Ins

  • to taste small fish charms Can be plastic or rubber.
  • optional glitter or foam beads For extra flair.

  • 1 bowl for mixing
  • 1 mixing spoon

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Choose a clean, flat surface for crafting and lay down newspaper or a plastic sheet to catch any spills.

Combine Glue and Water

  • In a bowl, mix 1 cup of school glue with 1 cup of water.
  • Stir with a mixing spoon until combined and smooth.

Add Color

  • Stir in 1 to 2 teaspoons of acrylic paint to create an ocean-like hue. Feel free to experiment with shades!

Create the Slime

  • Gradually add 1/2 cup of liquid starch to the mixture.
  • Stir continuously; the mixture will begin to thicken and form slime.

Knead the Slime

  • Once the slime starts pulling away from the bowl, use your hands to knead it.
  • Enjoy the squishy texture as it becomes more cohesive.

Incorporate Charms

  • Gently fold in the small fish charms to your slime.
  • Make sure they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Play Time!

  • Your ocean slime is now ready for play! Stretch, squish, and enjoy the tactile experience.

Notes

For added fun, mix in glitter, foam beads, or even sea creature toys. Keep your slime in an airtight container to maintain its texture.
