  • 2/3 cup Light corn syrup
  • 1 cup Water

Coloring and Flavoring

  • Food coloring (blue, green, white) Use in small amounts.
  • Flavoring extracts (your choice, e.g., vanilla, mint) Choose any preferred flavor.

  • Candy thermometer Essential for measuring temperature.
  • Silicone lollipop molds
  • Cooking spray To prevent sticking.

Preparation

  • Spray your silicone lollipop molds with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Making the Candy Mixture

  • In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water.
  • Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.

Heating the Mixture

  • Attach a candy thermometer to the side of the pan.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring until it reaches about 300°F (hard crack stage).

Color and Flavoring

  • Once at the right temperature, remove from heat and divide the mixture into three separate bowls.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl, mixing to achieve your preferred ocean colors.
  • Stir in your chosen flavor extracts.

Pouring the Mixture

  • Quickly and carefully pour the colored mixtures into the molds, allowing them to swirl together for a marbled effect.
  • Use a lollipop stick in each mold and gently twist to create swirls.

Cooling

  • Let the lollipops cool completely until hardened, typically about 30 minutes.

Finishing

  • Carefully remove the lollipops from the molds.
