Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by painting one paper plate with blue paint to represent the ocean. Let it dry completely.
  • Take the second plate and cut it in half. This will be your shark’s mouth and fins.

Create the Shark’s Body

  • Glue the half plate to the full plate at an angle, so it resembles a smiling shark.
  • Cut out fins from the remaining half and glue them onto the sides of the shark’s body.

Detail Your Shark

  • Use black marker to draw teeth on the edge of the half plate where you’ve created the mouth.
  • Add googly eyes or draw eyes with your marker to give your shark character.

Final Touches

  • Cut a small triangle from the red construction paper to create a tongue if desired, and glue it inside the mouth.
  • Display your creation proudly or use it as a playful prop for make-believe!
