Instructions
Preparation
- Clear a clean, flat area for crafting.
- Lay down newspaper or a plastic sheet to protect the surface.
Creating the Snowman Base
- Take the clay/foam and form three spheres in varying sizes (large for the base, medium for the middle, and small for the head).
- Feel the smoothness of the material as you mold it.
Assembling the Snowman
- Stack the spheres, securing each with a bit of glue for stability.
- Ensure they’re balanced and adjust if necessary.
Painting the Snowman
- Use your pastels for a soft finish: Base coat white or off-white.
- Add pastel paint to each section after drying to create a blended look.
- Allow the paint to dry completely.
Adding Details
- Once dry, glue on googly eyes or beads for eyes.
- Use small accessories to decorate (scarf around neck, buttons down the front, etc.).
- Feel the difference between the smooth clay and textured accessories.
Adding Sparkle
- Sprinkle clear crystals or glitter on the wet paint for a sparkly effect.
- Let everything dry completely before moving the snowman.
