Ingredients
Foam Base
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup vinegar White vinegar works best.
- Red, white, and blue food coloring Use drops to achieve desired color.
Presentation Materials
- 1 packet Pop-Rocks candy Add right before serving.
- Large mixing bowl
- Baking tray or drop cloth To catch overflow.
- Cupcake liners (optional) For serving the foam.
- Spoon or spatula For mixing and serving.

Preparation
- Lay down a baking tray or drop cloth to catch any overflow.
- Gather all materials in one area for easy access.
Mix the Foam Base
- In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of baking soda.
- Gradually pour in 1/2 cup of vinegar and watch it fizz and bubble!
Color it Up
- Add drops of red, white, and blue food coloring to the foamy mixture.
- Stir gently until you achieve a marbled patriotic effect.
Create Your Presentation
- If desired, place cupcake liners in the baking tray.
- Spoon the foam into the liners, filling them generously to create heights.
Add the Pop-Rocks
- Just before serving, sprinkle Pop-Rocks candy over the foam.
