Tools Required

  • 1 mixing utensil (spatula or spoon)
  • 1 set set measuring cups and spoons

Instructions

Mixing the Slime

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Stir well until the two ingredients are fully mixed.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring of your choice to mimic the vibrant colors of Peeps. Mix until the desired shade is achieved.
  • Slowly add 1-2 cups of saline solution while mixing continuously. Keep stirring until the mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl and forms a ball.
  • Once the slime begins to hold together, use your hands to knead it for a few minutes. Notice the change in texture—it should become stretchy and smooth.
  • Incorporate Peeps candies into the slime or place them on top for decoration. Enjoy the soft, sweet smell as you create!

Notes

For different variations, consider using different food coloring, adding vanilla or marshmallow flavoring for scent, or incorporating glitter or small foam beads for extra texture. Store slime in an airtight container to keep it fresh and prevent drying.
