Ingredients

- 1 each Clear glass jars or containers (various sizes)
- 1 bag White craft cotton or batting
- 1 each Black markers or craft paint
- 1 pack Googly eyes or adhesive googly eyes
- 1 each Mild adhesive (i.e., tacky glue or hot glue gun)
- 1 each Optional: glow-in-the-dark paint or stickers For a spooky glow effect.
- 1 each Optional: decorative ribbon or fabric for jar lids
Instructions
Preparation
- Clean and dry your glass jars thoroughly to ensure a clear view of your ghostly creation.
- Depending on your desired aesthetic, you can leave the lids on or use fabric for a playful touch.
Creating the Ghost
- Take small pieces of white craft cotton or batting. Fluff them up to mimic the ghostly body.
- Place the fluffed cotton inside the jar, forming a rounded shape that resembles a ghost.
Adding Facial Features
- With your black markers or craft paint, give your ghost a face! Draw eyes and a mouth to bring it to life.
- Alternatively, stick on googly eyes for an extra touch of fun.
Assembling the Lid
- If using a fabric lid, cut a piece of fabric that covers the top of the jar, securing it with ribbon or string.
- For a spooky glow effect, paint or stick glow-in-the-dark elements around the inside of the jar before sealing.
