Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar Can be substituted with lemon juice or vinegar.

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 unit food coloring (optional) Add for color.
  • 1 unit essential oils or scents (optional) For added aroma.

Preparation

  • Gather all your materials and set up a clean workspace.
  • In a large pot, mix together the flour, salt, and cream of tartar.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the water, vegetable oil, and any food coloring or essential oils you want to use.
  • Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture, stirring continuously.
  • Place the pot on the stove over medium heat, stirring constantly until the dough thickens.
  • Once a ball forms, transfer it to a clean surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth.

Notes

Experiment with different food colors to create unique shades, add essential oils for aromatic experiences, or mix in sand, glitter, or small beads for texture.
