  • Yarn or thin ribbon as needed for the tentacles Play with different colors.
  • 1 piece hot glue gun For securing pieces; be cautious with the warm glue.
  • Optional googly eyes To add character to your jellyfish.

Construction

  • Begin by cutting your pool noodle in half to create the body of the jellyfish.
  • Take one half of the pool noodle and cut it into rounded shapes to form the jellyfish body.
  • Cut lengths of yarn or ribbon for the tentacles, aiming for at least eight pieces of varying lengths.
  • Attach the tentacles to the bottom of the jellyfish body securely using a hot glue gun.
  • If desired, add googly eyes by applying a dot of glue for each eye.
  • Finally, tie a piece of fishing line or string to the top of the jellyfish for hanging.
  • Admire your work and enjoy the beauty of your jellyfish decoration.

Notes

Store your jellyfish in a soft cloth bag or wrap it in tissue paper to prevent squishing. You can refresh its look by changing colors or adding new embellishments. Experiment and personalize your jellyfish decoration to reflect your creativity.
