Ingredients

- 1-2 pieces Empty plastic pop bottles (1 or 2-liter size)
- 1 set LED fairy lights (battery-operated preferred) Ensure designed for outdoor use.

Instructions
Preparation
- Rinse the pop bottles thoroughly and remove any labels. Let them dry completely.
- Carefully cut the bottles in half, using scissors. You will only need the bottom part for the firefly body.
Decoration
- Use craft paint to add color to the outside of the bottle. Bright colors like yellow or green work beautifully.
- Use the black permanent marker to draw eyes or patterns on your fireflies.
Setup Lights
- Take the LED fairy lights and gently place them inside the decorated bottle, ensuring the battery pack remains accessible.
- Use glue or just place the fairy lights securely so they don’t fall out when hung or moved.
Hanging Mechanism
- Tie a piece of twine or fishing line around the neck of the bottle for hanging purposes.
- Adjust the length for your desired display height.
Final Touches
- Add any additional decorations like googly eyes or glitter for a fun sparkle.
