  • 1 roll Clear adhesive tape or contact paper To secure and protect the flowers.
  • 1 piece Ruler For measuring the bookmark size.
  • 1 piece Pencil For marking measurements.

Preparation Steps

  • Select your fresh flowers, choosing vibrant colors and flat blooms.
  • Prepare a flat surface with parchment paper.
  • Lay selected flowers flat on the parchment paper without overlapping.
  • Cover the flowers with another piece of parchment paper.
  • Press down with a heavy book or flower press for 1-2 weeks.

Bookmark Assembly Steps

  • Once flowers are dried, carefully remove them.
  • Cut cardstock or thick paper to desired bookmark size, typically 2 inches by 6 inches.
  • Arrange dried flowers on the cardstock.
  • Secure flowers with clear adhesive tape or laminate with contact paper.
  • Allow bookmarks to dry completely before use.
  • Decorate the edges with washi tape or markers if desired.
