Instructions
 

Preparing the Bioplastics

  • Preheat the oven to the desired temperature based on your bioplastic's instructions.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Shaping Your Flowers

  • Roll out the bioplastic or gelatin sheets to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Press flower-shaped cookie cutters into the sheets to create flower shapes, ensuring a variety of sizes and colors.

Adding Color

  • Before removing the flowers from the cutters, add a few drops of food coloring to the petals.
  • Use toothpicks to swirl and create patterns.

Baking

  • Place the cut flowers onto the lined baking sheet, leaving space between each shape.
  • Bake according to the bioplastic instructions until they solidify.

Finishing Touches

  • Once cooled, use scissors to trim any rough edges.
  • Punch a hole at the top of each flower for hanging.
  • Thread string or fishing line through each hole.

Notes

You can experiment with different colors or shapes and add embellishments like glitter for extra sparkle.
