  • 5 pieces Pringle lids (clean and dry) Ensure they are flat and sturdy.
  • 1 roll Transparent adhesive craft paper or contact paper Can be substituted with clear tape.
  • 1 set Permanent markers or paint (in various colors) Use various colors to decorate.
  • 1 piece Scissors Handle with care, especially with children.
  • 1 piece Hole punch
  • 1 length Ribbon or string (for hanging) Cut to desired length.
  • optional Glitter, beads, or small embellishments For added texture and sparkle.

Preparation

  • Ensure all Pringle lids are clean and dry.
  • Choose your desired colors and designs for each lid.

Creating the Design

  • Use permanent markers or paint to decorate one side of each lid.
  • Layer colors for depth or draw patterns—be creative!

Covering with Adhesive Paper

  • Cut a piece of transparent adhesive craft paper slightly larger than each lid.
  • Peel off the backing and gently press it over the decorated side of the lid to protect your design.

Punching the Hole

  • Use the hole punch to create a small hole at the top of the lid for hanging.

Adding a Ribbon or String

  • Cut a length of ribbon or string and thread it through the hole.
  • Tie a knot to secure it.

Hanging the Suncatcher

  • Find a sunny spot in your window.
  • Hang your new suncatcher and enjoy the beautiful reflections!

Notes

Use seasonal colors for festive decorations. Mixed materials like beads or glitter can enhance texture.
