Ingredients
  

For the Puffy Paint

  • 1 cup shaving cream (foam, not gel) Foam shaving cream works best for the texture.
  • 1 cup white school glue Use white school glue for optimal results.
  • to taste drops food coloring (optional) Mix in food coloring to achieve desired colors.

For Application

  • 1 each mixing bowl For mixing the ingredients.
  • 1 each spoon for mixing A regular spoon will work.
  • as needed each plastic squeeze bottles or zip-top bags For application of the paint.
  • 1 each parchment paper or canvas Surface for painting.

Preparation Steps

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of shaving cream with 1 cup of white school glue.
  • Stir gently to avoid deflating the shaving cream too much. The mixture should remain light and airy.

Coloring Steps

  • Add a few drops of food coloring if you wish to create colored puffy paint. Mix until you achieve your desired shade.

Transfer Steps

  • Scoop the puffy paint into plastic squeeze bottles or zip-top bags. If using zip-top bags, cut a small hole in one corner for easy application.

Creating Art

  • Use parchment paper or canvas as your surface. Squeeze the paint onto your chosen medium and create your designs. Press gently to allow the paint to puff up when it dries.

Drying

  • Allow the paint to dry completely. It will puff up as it sits. This may take several hours or overnight, depending on the thickness of the paint.

Notes

Experiment with color mixing and try adding glitter or essential oils for extra flair.
