Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of salt.
  • Use a whisk or spoon to blend the ingredients until they are evenly mixed.
  • Gradually add 1 cup of water to the dry mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add a few drops of food coloring to each, mixing until the color is even.
  • Pour the colored mixtures into squeeze bottles or prepare a paintbrush for application.

Painting

  • Use the squeeze bottles or brushes to create designs on the sidewalk.
  • Enjoy watching the paint puff up as it dries.

Notes

Leftover paint can be stored in the fridge for a few days in sealed containers. This paint is washable and perfect for outdoor creative projects. Try different surfaces for more fun!
