Preparation

  • Measure 2 cups of cornstarch into a mixing bowl.
  • Measure out 1 cup of conditioner and add it to the cornstarch.
  • Mix the cornstarch and conditioner until fully combined, using your hands as necessary.
  • Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice and mix well.
  • If desired, add a few drops of brown food coloring and glitter, mixing for an even blend.
  • Store the ghost mud in an airtight container.

Notes

Custom scents can be created by swapping pumpkin pie spice for cinnamon or essential oils. You can use various food coloring shades for festive colors. For edible versions, substitute conditioner with yogurt.
