  • 1 roll Clear tape To attach elements together
  • 1 optional Plastic or cardboard frame For more support if desired
  • 1 piece String or ribbon For hanging the suncatcher

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by cutting the orange transparency sheets into pumpkin shapes with a classic outline.

Detailing

  • Use a black marker to draw a jack-o'-lantern face on the pumpkin or cut out features from black construction paper and glue them on with tape.

Texturing

  • Optionally, lightly crumple the orange transparency before shaping it into a pumpkin for a textured effect.

Assembly

  • If using a frame, cut it to size and attach the pumpkin cutout with tape. If not using a frame, tape the pumpkin directly to the window.

Hanging

  • Use string or ribbon to hang your pumpkin suncatcher in a light-catching spot such as a window.

Enjoyment

  • Step back and admire your colorful pumpkin suncatcher, letting the light dance through its vibrant hues!

Notes

Consider experimenting with colors or adding stickers and glitter for personalization. You can also make other seasonal shapes for variety.
