  • 1 piece Pipette or dropper To add food coloring to the shaving cream.
  • 1 piece Spoon or straw To create the fluffy cloud and mix.

Preparation

  • Fill a clear cup or glass about three-quarters full with water. Observe the water's surface—this will simulate the sky.
  • Generously top the water with shaving cream, using a spoon to create a fluffy cloud layer that resembles a cloud floating on the water.

Color Addition

  • Using a pipette or dropper, add a few drops of food coloring on top of the shaving cream, creating a colorful effect.
  • Observe the colors slowly seep down through the shaving cream into the water below, simulating rain falling from clouds.

Notes

Experiment with different food coloring combinations, use a mixture of water and cornstarch for denser clouds, and try adding edible glitter for enhanced visual effects. This is a fun educational activity perfect for groups!
