Instructions

Preparation

  • Fill the jar about three-quarters full with water and leave some space at the top to prevent overflow.
  • Gently spray a layer of shaving cream on top of the water to act as your 'cloud.' Aim for a fluffy layer that covers the entire surface.
  • In a small cup, mix a few drops of food coloring with a bit of water.
  • Using a dropper or spoon, carefully drizzle the colored water onto the shaving cream.

Observation

  • Watch as the food coloring seeps through the shaving cream and into the water, mimicking rain falling from a cloud.
  • Observe the visual magic as the colors swirl and blend!

Notes

Experiment with different food colors or mix them for unique shades. Adjust the shaving cream amount for denser or fluffier clouds. Add glitter for a sparkling effect if desired.
