Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Use the ruler to measure and cut your construction paper into elongated raindrop shapes, about 4-6 inches long.
  • Try different sizes for a varied look.

Coloring

  • Using blue crayons, fill the raindrop shapes with creative patterns, lines, or even solid colors.
  • Enjoy the feel of the crayon gliding over the paper.

Punching Holes

  • Use the hole punch to create a hole at the top of each raindrop for the string.

Assembly

  • Measure and cut pieces of string about 10-12 inches long.
  • Pass the string through the hole and tie a knot to secure it.

Display

  • Attach the other end of the string to a window or ceiling hook.
  • Watch how they sway gently in the breeze, catching the light beautifully.

Notes

Consider varying the colors used to represent different weather or create themed decorations. Adult supervision is essential for younger children due to use of scissors and hole punch.
