Instructions

Preparation

  • Using scissors, carefully cut the bottom off the plastic bottle to create a funnel.
  • Slip the old sock over the cut end of the bottle. Make sure it fits snugly.

Mix the Bubble Solution

  • In a bowl, mix 1 cup of water, 3 tablespoons of dish soap, and a few drops of food coloring. Stir gently to avoid creating excess bubbles.
  • Dip the sock-covered end of the bottle into the bubble solution to soak it.

Create Your Bubble Snake

  • Place your mouth over the open end of the bottle and blow gently to create a long, colorful bubble snake!
  • Experiment by varying the speed of your blowing to see how the bubbles change in size and shape.

Notes

Customize colors with different food color combinations. Use diverse fabric for the sock to modify texture. Supervise young children closely during cutting and blowing.
