Ingredients
Craft Materials
- 1 large Large plastic bottle (cut in half) Ensure to use the top half of the bottle.
- 1 pair Sock or pantyhose Can be any old sock or pantyhose.
- 2-3 tablespoons Dish soap Any liquid dish soap will work.
- various drops Food coloring Use multiple colors for a rainbow effect.
- 1 cup Water For mixing with soap.
- 1 1 Rubber band To secure the sock/pantyhose on the bottle.
- 1 shallow Plate or bowl For mixing the bubble solution.
Instructions
Preparation
- Gather all the materials mentioned above.
- Choose your colors of food coloring for the rainbow effect.
Assemble the Bubble Maker
- Take the plastic bottle and cut it in half if you haven't already, ensuring the top half is used.
- Stretch the sock or pantyhose over the cut end of the bottle.
- Secure it with a rubber band around the bottle's neck.
Mix the Bubble Solution
- In a shallow plate or bowl, mix water with a few tablespoons of dish soap.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to create a colorful solution.
Create Your Rainbow Bubble Snakes
- Dip the sock/pantyhose end of the bottle into the soapy mixture.
- Blow gently into the mouth of the bottle to create bubbles.
- Watch in awe as the bubbles expand into long, colorful strands resembling snakes!
