  • 1 cup water To mix with plaster of Paris.

  • 2 Mixing bowls For combining ingredients.
  • 1 Stirring stick (like a popsicle stick) For mixing the plaster and water.
  • 1 set Measuring cups For accurate measurement of ingredients.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay out newspapers or a plastic tablecloth to catch any spills.
  • Gather all materials and ensure everything is within reach.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of plaster of Paris with 1 cup of water.
  • Stir well until the mixture is smooth and lump-free, about 1-2 minutes.

Coloring

  • Divide the plaster mixture into several smaller bowls (about 4-6).
  • Add different food coloring to each bowl, mixing until you achieve your desired shades.

Molding

  • Carefully pour each colored mixture into the silicone molds or plastic containers.
  • Tap gently to release air bubbles and ensure even distribution.

Setting

  • Allow the molds to sit undisturbed for 24 hours or until fully hardened.
  • Once set, carefully remove the chalk pops from the molds.

Enjoying

  • Test out your rainbow chalk on a blackboard or sidewalk.
  • Admire the vibrant colors and let your creativity soar!

Notes

Customize colors by mixing food coloring. Consider adding essential oils for scented chalk, or use different molds for unique shapes. Bundle different colors for cute gift packs.
