Instructions
Preparation
- Lay out newspapers or a plastic tablecloth to catch any spills.
- Gather all materials and ensure everything is within reach.
Mixing
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of plaster of Paris with 1 cup of water.
- Stir well until the mixture is smooth and lump-free, about 1-2 minutes.
Coloring
- Divide the plaster mixture into several smaller bowls (about 4-6).
- Add different food coloring to each bowl, mixing until you achieve your desired shades.
Molding
- Carefully pour each colored mixture into the silicone molds or plastic containers.
- Tap gently to release air bubbles and ensure even distribution.
Setting
- Allow the molds to sit undisturbed for 24 hours or until fully hardened.
- Once set, carefully remove the chalk pops from the molds.
