Instructions
Preparation
- Bend the pipe cleaners into a tree shape, creating a trunk and branches.
- Twist the branches for dimension.
Creating Borax Solution
- Boil water in a pot until it reaches a rolling boil.
- Carefully add borax to the boiling water while stirring until completely dissolved.
Adding Color
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the solution.
Suspending the Tree
- Tie the string to the top of the pipe cleaner tree.
- Hang it in the container and pour the borax solution until the tree is fully submerged.
Growing Crystals
- Leave the container undisturbed for 6-12 hours to observe crystal formation.
