  • 1 pair Scissors Any comfortable pair will do.
  • 1 bottle Glue or double-sided tape Choose a strong adhesive.
  • 1 piece Thin wire or string For hanging the suncatcher.
  • optional Markers or paint Optional for adding details.
  • 1 template Templates for dragonfly shapes Printable or hand-drawn.

Preparation

  • Select your template. Choose or draw a dragonfly template based on your space and preference.
  • Place the template on your transparent sheet and carefully trace around it. Cut it out slowly for a precise shape.
  • Select the cellophane colors you wish to use for the wings. Consider vibrant hues to mimic the natural beauty of dragonflies.
  • Cut out wing shapes from your colored cellophane. Layer them onto your transparent dragonfly base, overlapping them softly.
  • Use glue or double-sided tape to attach the colored wings to the transparent dragonfly, pressing gently to create a bond.
  • If desired, take a marker or paint to add details to your dragonfly's body or wings.
  • Cut a piece of wire or string and attach it to the top of your dragonfly, ensuring it is secure.
  • Hang your dragonfly in a sunny spot to watch it flutter with the light.

Notes
