Preparation

  • Gather all materials and ensure they are close at hand.
  • Cover the area with newspaper or a tablecloth to catch any overflow.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In the mixing bowl, mix 1 cup of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of dish soap.
  • Use a whisk or spoon to combine until you have a somewhat thick paste.

Coloring

  • Drop in your desired food coloring and mix well to blend the color into the foam mixture.

Creating the Foam

  • Slowly add 1 cup of white vinegar to the mixture.
  • Watch for bubbling and foam to erupt as you pour!

Enjoying the Foam

  • Once the foam begins to settle, scoop it out and experience the texture.
  • Try creating separate mixtures with different colors and combine them for added fun.

Notes

Customize colors with gel food coloring or add essential oils for a fragrant twist. Experiment with ratios of baking soda and vinegar to see its effects on foam height.
