Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoons Baking soda Ensure similar amounts across cups for an even reaction.

Coloring Ingredients

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cover your table with an old newspaper or a plastic tablecloth.
  • Place the clear plastic cups or small containers in a tray.

Create the Fountain Base

  • Measure 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda into each cup.
  • In separate cups, mix 1/4 cup water with a few drops of food coloring and stir well.

Add the Fountain Reaction

  • Gradually pour the colored water into the cups containing baking soda.
  • Observe the reaction as it fizzes and bubbles!
  • Experiment with different colors and ratios.

Notes
