Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons cream of tartar Can be swapped with baking powder
  • 2 cups water
  • as needed drops food coloring (multiple colors) Use various colors for customization
  • as needed sprinkles glow-in-the-dark powder (non-toxic) Adds a glow effect

Tools

  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 cooking pot
  • 1 spoon for stirring
  • 1 airtight storage container For storing the dough

Instructions
 

Prepare Your Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar.
  • Mix in 2 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil until the mixture is smooth.

Cook the Dough

  • Pour the mixture into a cooking pot and turn the stove to low heat.
  • Keep stirring as the mixture heats. It will begin to thicken and form a dough.

Color and Glow

  • Once a dough-like consistency is achieved, remove from heat and divide the dough into separate bowls.
  • To each bowl, add a few drops of food coloring and mix thoroughly.
  • Sprinkle in the glow-in-the-dark powder to each color and mix well.

Cool and Store

  • Allow the dough to cool completely before handling.
  • Place the dough into an airtight storage container to keep it fresh.

Notes

Custom colors can be created by mixing different shades. Add essential oils for a delightful fragrance. Adult supervision is suggested when crafting with small children.
