  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • food coloring (various colors) Use different colors as desired.
  • glow-in-the-dark powder Available at craft stores.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, cream of tartar, and vegetable oil.
  • Mix them well using a whisk or spoon until there are no lumps.

Add Water

  • Gradually pour in the water while continuously stirring.
  • Keep mixing until you have a smooth dough-like consistency.

Cook the Mixture

  • Transfer the mixture to a pot over medium heat.
  • Stir constantly to avoid sticking until it forms a dough that pulls away from the sides of the pot (about 3-5 minutes).

Divide and Color

  • Remove the dough from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Divide the dough into sections based on the number of colors you want.

Add Food Coloring and Glow Powder

  • Knead food coloring into each section until you achieve your desired shades.
  • Add glow-in-the-dark powder during this step for that magical nighttime effect.

Store the Dough

  • Allow the dough to cool completely.
  • Store your Rainbow Glow Moon Dough in airtight containers to keep it soft.

Notes

For variations, consider adding scent with vanilla or essential oils, using sand or cornstarch for texture, or natural dyes instead of food coloring.
