Instructions
Preparation
- Start by laying out your wax paper on a flat surface. This will be your workspace and where your suncatcher takes shape.
- In a small bowl, mix a few drops of food coloring into the clear glue. Use a craft stick to blend it gently. Watch how the color swirls and dances within the glue.
- Once your colors are ready, begin to pour or drizzle them onto the wax paper. Allow the colors to overlap and blend a little, creating a vibrant pattern that speaks to you.
- You can use a toothpick to swirl and manipulate the colors further, inviting an artistic flow. Take your time with this step; feel the glue’s smoothness as you create.
Drying
- When you are satisfied with your design, let it dry in a safe place. This may take several hours.
- Once dry, gently peel your suncatcher from the wax paper. Take your time to appreciate the translucent beauty that you’ve created.
Finishing
- Cut the suncatcher into your desired shapes if you haven’t already. You can make circles, stars, or any whimsical forms that draw your eye.

Notes
