Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups favorite soda (clear or colorful)
  • 1 cup gummy candies (assorted shapes and flavors)
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin (unflavored)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (to taste, optional)

Materials

  • 1 set popsicle molds
  • 6 pieces wooden popsicle sticks

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pour the soda into a mixing bowl.
  • If you like a sweeter pop, add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Sprinkle the gelatin over the soda and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.

Gelling

  • Place the bowl in the microwave (or on the stove) and gently heat it until the gelatin is fully dissolved, stirring occasionally.

Layering

  • Start with a thin layer of the soda mixture in your popsicle molds.
  • Drop a few gummy candies into the molds.
  • Repeat the process of adding soda and gummies, alternating layers until the molds are filled.

Freezing

  • Gently insert the wooden popsicle sticks into the center of each mold.
  • Place the molds in the freezer and allow them to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.

Serving

  • To release the pops, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds.
  • Gently pull on the sticks to remove the pops from the molds.
  • Savor your colorful creations!

Notes

Tips: Experiment with different types of sodas, gummy varieties, and consider using fresh fruit for a healthier option. They can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months.
