Ingredients
  

Slime Ingredients

  • 1 cup Elmer’s clear school glue
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda Enhances the slime’s texture.
  • 2 tablespoons Contact lens solution Activator for the slime.
  • various Food coloring Choose your favorite colors.

Tools

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Spoon or spatula
  • optional Glitter or small beads For decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clear a flat surface and cover it with newspaper or a plastic tablecloth to catch any spills.
  • In the mixing bowl, add 1 cup of Elmer’s clear school glue.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix thoroughly until well combined.

Coloring and Activating

  • Divide the glue mixture into separate bowls for each color you want.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl, and stir until the desired color is achieved.
  • Slowly add 2 tablespoons of contact lens solution to each bowl, stirring continuously.
  • Keep mixing until it pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

Final Touches

  • Once combined, use your hands to knead the slime for a couple of minutes.
  • To create a rainbow effect, take small portions of each colored slime and layer them together.
  • Gently fold and twist the slime to blend the colors without over-mixing.

Notes

You can add essential oils or scented extracts for a delightful aroma. Store slime in an airtight container or ziplock bag to prevent it from drying out.
