  • 1 cup Vegetable oil Pour oil until the bottle is almost full.

  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda Add for bubbly reaction.
  • 1 cup Vinegar Pour in slowly to create bubbles.
  • 1 optional Funnel Use for easier pouring.
  • 1 Spoon or stirrer For mixing.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start with a clean, empty plastic bottle or jar.
  • Use a funnel to pour water into the bottle, filling it about one-quarter full.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to the water. Mix gently.

Add Oil

  • Slowly pour vegetable oil into the bottle until it’s almost full, leaving some space at the top.

Create the Lava Effect

  • Add a teaspoon of baking soda to the mixture.
  • Slowly pour in vinegar and enjoy the colorful bubbles.

Finish It Up

  • Close the lid tightly, and shake gently if desired to mix colors.
  • Place your suncatcher in a sunny spot or by a window.

Notes
