  • 1 piece Scissors For cutting string and shaping CDs.
  • 1 piece Hole puncher To create a hole for hanging.
  • 1 piece Clear varnish Optional for a glossy finish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather your CDs and choose ones that are no longer functional or ones you don’t mind altering.
  • Clean the surface of the CDs to remove any dust or fingerprints.

Painting or Decorating

  • Use acrylic paint or permanent markers to color the CDs with vibrant colors.
  • Create patterns or images like geometric shapes, spirals, or freehand sketches.
  • Let your painted designs dry for a couple of hours.

Punching Holes

  • Use a hole puncher to make a hole near the edge of the CD for attaching the string.

Adding the String

  • Cut a piece of string or fishing line to a length of about 12-18 inches.
  • Pass one end of the string through the hole in the CD and tie a knot.

Final Touches

  • If desired, apply a clear varnish for a glossy finish and allow it to dry completely.
  • Add adhesive gems or stickers to decorate further and add sparkle.
