Instructions
Preparation
- In your bowl, mix 1 cup of warm water with 1 cup of salt.
- Stir the mixture with a fork or stirring stick until the salt completely dissolves.
Shaping the Tree
- Take the pipe cleaner and bend it into a Christmas tree shape.
- Create a triangle-like structure, with a trunk at the bottom.
Crystallization
- Place your shaped pipe cleaner tree upright in the salt solution.
- Ensure that it is partially submerged but the top remains above the liquid.
- Leave the tree in the solution for 24-48 hours, observing the crystallization process.
Drying the Tree
- After the desired crystallization, carefully remove the tree from the solution.
- Pat gently with a paper towel to remove excess liquid.
- Allow it to dry completely, preferably in a warm, dry place.
Decoration (Optional)
- If desired, add food coloring before submerging for colorful crystals.
- Attach string or ribbon for hanging or display your tree on a table.
