Ingredients

  • 1 cup white school glue (PVA) Best results with white school glue.
  • 1 cup warm water Using warm water helps dissolve the salt easily.
  • 1/2 cup salt Table salt is recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda Helps thicken the slime.

Optional Ingredients

  • to taste food coloring Customize colors as desired.
  • to taste glitter or small beads For added sparkle and texture.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of warm water. Stir well until fully blended.
  • Gradually add 1/2 cup of salt to the glue-water mixture. Stir until the salt is completely dissolved.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the mixture and mix until fully combined.
  • If desired, add food coloring and mix thoroughly until the color is even.
  • For extra fun, sprinkle in glitter or small beads at this stage.
  • Once thoroughly mixed, knead the slime with your hands until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Place your finished saltwater slime in an airtight container when not in use.

Notes

Customize with scents using essential oils, and mix in beads for texture. Always store your slime in an airtight container to maintain its quality.
