Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water To create the saltwater base.
  • 1 tablespoon salt This will be dissolved in warm water.
  • 2 cups white school glue The primary base for the slime.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda Helps with the texture of the slime.
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution Must contain boric acid to activate the slime.

Optional Add-Ins

  • to taste food coloring For customizing the color of the slime.
  • to taste glitter To add sparkle to the slime.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the warm water and salt until the salt is fully dissolved to create your saltwater base.
  • In another bowl, pour in the white school glue and add the baking soda. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually stir the saltwater solution into the glue mixture, mixing thoroughly for an even consistency.
  • Slowly add the contact lens solution while stirring until the mixture starts to come together and form slime.
  • Once combined, take the slime out of the bowl and knead it with your hands for a few minutes to enhance its texture and elasticity.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix well. Sprinkle in glitter for extra flair.

Notes

Adjust the texture by adding more contact lens solution if too sticky. Store in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain consistency. Add essential oils for scent if desired.
