Ingredients
  

Slime Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup white glue Standard white school glue
  • 1 cup water Room temperature
  • 1 tsp baking soda Thickening agent
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch Enhances texture
  • 1/4 cup contact lens solution For slime activation
  • 1/2 cup sand Fine or colored sand

Optional Add-ins

  • Food coloring Optional for customization
  • Scented oil Optional for a fragrant experience

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white glue and 1 cup of water. Stir well until fully mixed.
  • Sprinkle in 1 tsp of baking soda and mix until dissolved.
  • Gradually stir in 1/2 cup of cornstarch to enhance the texture.
  • Slowly add 1/4 cup of contact lens solution while stirring until the mixture clumps together.
  • Fold in 1/2 cup of sand.
  • Incorporate food coloring and scented oil if desired.
  • Knead the slime by hand for a few minutes to improve its texture.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Experiment with different scented oils and food colorings for unique creations.
